Şirince Nesin matematik köyü
 

İzmir Şirince'nin muhteşem doğasının içindeki Nesin Matematik Köyü; 7'den 70'e herkesin her seviyede matematik yaptığı, öğrendiği, öğrettiği ve düşündüğü, 30 dönümü zeytinlik olmak üzere toplam 55 dönümlük bir köy.

İzmir'in Selçuk ilçesine bağlı Şirince köyünde yer alan Nesin matematik köyü, açıldığı ilk zamanlar sadece üniversite öğrencilerini hedefliyordu.

Daha sonra yoğun talepten dolayı kapılarını ilkokul ve lise öğrencilerine de açtı.

Etkinliklerini yaz tatili ve sömestr tatillerinde gerçekleştiren*matematik köyü 2007'den beri hizmet vermekte.

Matematiği öğrencilere tanıtmayı hedef alan matematik köyünde eğitmenler dünyanın ve Türkiye'nin dört bir tarafından gelen gönüllü akademisyenlerdir.
